ICVA and IOM have planned the fourth annual IOM-NGO Humanitarian Consultation on Tuesday, 25 September 2018, in Geneva, Switzerland.

The overarching theme of this year’s Consultation will be internal displacement. Last year’s regional Consultation in Nairobi emphasized the need to further develop global dialogue between IOM and NGOs with regard to strengthening complementarities in preventing, responding to, and progressively resolving internal displacement. The need to delve into issues such as evidence base, participation, sharing responsibility in localization, and improving coordination, came out strongly from our discussions.  

ICVA invites you to participate in a short survey which will help us understand your priority topics related to internal displacement. Please take a brief moment to complete the pre-event survey. Participation in the survey will take less than two minutes of your time and your input will help us to focus the Consultation discussions and ensure that a diversity of interests can be represented. We look forward to receiving your input by 18 July 2018.
