Hamad Latif
Hamad Latif is a human resource management practitioner by profession. His professional career spans over a decade (2005-2019) in the fields of Human resource management, learning & Development and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). He earned Master’s degree in Human Resource Management at Kingston University, United Kingdom (UK). He is a CIPD graduate.
He has on his credit the designing and delivery of hundreds of capacity building initiatives including trainings in the diverse fields of Human Resource Management, Disaster risk reduction, Communication & Presentation, Communications in emergencies, Team Building, Personal Effectiveness, Self-development, Child Protection, Gender Equality and Disaster Risk Management.
Hamad combines human resource background with an engaging style to create innovative, interactive, customized and high impact learning experiences. He engages the participants by being creative, meaningful, relevant, hands-on, concrete, fun, and exciting. He is a certified online facilitator and has designed/ facilitated numerous online trainings for learners from around the globe.
Muhammad Sufyan

Muhammad Sufyan is MEAL Specialist with a focus on Accountability to affected populations (AAP) and Core Humanitarian Standard. He has 19 years of professional experience working with several international NGOs and UN agencies across Middle East and Asia-pacific region. He specializes in coordination and support in development of Monitoring and Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) mechanisms at agency-wide level. He has conducted various studies, which includes assessments, Pre and Post KAP and evaluations of humanitarian and development projects in south Asia and Middle East region. Sufyan continues to support capacity building initiatives within regions and countries, and amongst Oxfam’s partners in accordance with Oxfam’s strategic plans.

He has developed and implemented accountability systems in more than 10 organizations. He also provided technical support to various national and international organizations to develop and implement their accountability systems. Being quality and accountability practitioner, he has led CHS Self-Assessment of 5 organizations. He is also a registered trainer of Sphere minimum standards and its companion volumes and has conducted numerous sessions with staff of national and international organizations. He is also a trained investigator from OSACO Group and CHS Alliance. He has led the workplace investigations of more than 150 cases

Uzma Shahid
Disaster Risk Management (DRM) practitioner, capacity building expert, trainer, project management professional, manager of development, environmental, climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction programs and development analyst. My professional career spans over more than two decades (1998-2017). She has on credit the conception, designing, planning, execution, management, and supervision of over 30 projects and programs in the diverse fields of: Disaster Risk Management, Child Centered Disaster Risk Reduction, Child Protection, and livelihoods, Education particularly of girls, and Rural and Urban Development. Developed, coordinated and contributed to more than 100 knowledge products including: research reports, training manuals, IEC (Information, Education and Communication) materials and working models/frameworks in these fields. Designed and delivered hundreds of trainings on participatory development approaches, child protection, child rights, child centered disaster risk reduction, livelihoods, cash for work, emergency response and many more. Conducted Surge Trainings in Pakistan for Roster Member of Transforming Surge Capacity Project under DEPP funded by DFID and UK-aid. 
Rizwan Baig
An experienced and skilled emergency response professional having more than 18 years’ international and national experience of working in UK, South Asia (Pakistan, Philippines, Afghanistan and Nepal) and South East Asia and developed key strengths in NGO Management, Preparedness, Emergency Response and Relief, Recovery & Rehabilitation, Donor Engagement, Designing, Planning & Budgeting and Coordination. Accomplishments in Programmes Management, Project Implementation, Response Plans, Camp Management & Coordination, Representation & Advocacy, Monitoring & Reporting, Conducted Trainings with Operational Support. He has led and supervised country missions for emergency response against large scale catastrophes in South Asian and South East Asian Countries.
Brig.(Rtd) Sajid Naeem
Brig.(Rtd) Sajid Naeem has over 39 years of experience in civilian and military set ups, on progressively responsible positions for tactical to strategic planning and action in a variety of emergency settings. Has Seven years of concentrated practical leadership experience in planning and managing pre-disaster preparedness, disaster relief, post-disaster recovery, transition to development initiatives and capacity building programmes. Holds Masters Degree in War Studies from Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad.

Performed as Member (Operation) in National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) from January 2010 to June 2013 and supervised all activities related to disaster management. Managed and monitored the implementation of rescue/relief operations, recovery and reconstruction during Floods 2010 & 2011. Was head of Head of National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM) from July 2013 to Jun 2017 and remained involved in capacity development of government functionaries and humanitarian partners in prevention of disaster and mitigation programmes.

Noshaba Zafar Mir
Noshaba Zafar Mir, has over 16 years of diverse experience and relevant educational qualification, of humanitarian and development interventions, International exposures, multi lingual Skills, exposure to cultural diversity, and experience of working multi stakeholders like government, UN and international donor agencies. Noshaba’s work experience of Emergency response, early recovery and Rehabilitation process covers 10 years

She has been developing capacity building programs, training manuals, rolling out ToT for multiple audiences. Noshaba recently has been working as Regional Gender Specialist,-Asia Region, Plan International, from more than 3 years and providing Technical Support on Gender equality programming and Inclusion at Policy, program and implementation level, to 14 country offices in Asia Region.

Asim Jalil
Since last 15 years, Asim Jalil remained engaged both in developmental and humanitarian work, holding cross-disciplinary experience in project management, resource mobilization and donor relationship management. Academically, he has earned Master’s in Business Administration with specialization in finance. He has been associated with Tearfund (British INGO) in the capacity of Pakistan Project Manager implementing Shifting the Power Project in collaboration with START Network. Mr. Asim has functional and proven knowledge of donor coordination, strategic partnerships, organizational management, planning and engagement of rights holders and budgeting.

He has represented Pakistan at many international forums in UK, Kenya, Veitnam, Thailand and Ethiopia. Mr. Asim has also been Chair/Lead of  - START Network Decision Making Group Pakistan, Fellow - LEAD Pakistan (Cohort-17), Coordination Committee Member – Pakistan DRR Forum, Member - Gender Humanitarian Task Force (GHTF) UNOCHA and Member – Professionals in Humanitarian Assistance and Protection (PHAP).

Shakeel Mukhtar
Keen and dedicated aid worker with more than 12 years’ experience in various fields. Strong believer in ethical work and providing aid where needed. Have experience of humanitarian responses both abroad and domestically. Have worked with homeless individuals and communities suffering from the natural and manmade disasters. Capable at managing high pressure situations and negotiating peaceful outcomes despite cultural barriers.

Responded to various Humanitarian Situations at international and national levels which includes Earthquake, Floods and people displacement while at international level; as a Supply Chain expert in Chad, Nepal, and Philippines where as project manager in Sudan and Somalia.

Abdul Hadi
A passionate researcher and humble resource person, has a cherished history of professional experience of around 12 years in social and development sector. He entered the academia a couple of years back as a visiting faculty at RIPHAH International University, Islamabad. He has recently moderated the 4th International Water Conference on Climate Change & Disaster Risk Management for Sustainable Development & Businesses. He has been the part of research venture meant for conducting MHVRA of district Peshawar and Islamabad. Currently, he has been offering his services as MEAL Manager in Muslim Aid. His core competencies are relating to Project vs Program Planning and designing, managing projects of all sort of emergencies and development nature, monitoring, evaluation, impact studies, accountability and learning as well as to oversee all germane functions of Project Management. He has conducted different specialized trainings for self-motivators who have earned fast- track promotions through a proven record of achievements. He is also the active member of SERT Pakistan Roster team.
Aziz Ahmad

I started my career as volunteer with NRSP during 2005 EQ and currently with IR as Emergency programme manager for Somalia. Shahnawaz Khan 
Humanitarian professional with 14 years of experience in Disaster Risk Management, Emergency Response, Program Development, Project Management and Monitoring and Evaluation. Proven experience in developing disaster risk management strategies and frameworks and leading programmatic scale up of disaster risk management programs in Pakistan . Demonstrated experience of emergency relief, recovery and Rehabilitation projects during Earthquake 2005, Floods 2010, IDPs crises 2009 and floods 2011. Significant experience of developing partnership with government and local NGOs for improving emergency response capacity/preparedness .He has strong track record in project and team management, a dynamic team player with an ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Demonstrated capacity with project grants management, including project design, budget preparation, expenditure tracking, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, supervision and performance. Sana Zulfiqar

She has done MSC in Communication Sciences and has served in different positions for the last ten years at Earthquake Reconstruction & Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA), United Nation Volunteer (UNV), National Health Emergency Preparedness Response Network (NHEPRN), National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and the National Humanitarian Network (NHN). National Humanitarian Network Pakistan

A volunteer network, founded in 2010 in result of interactive dialogue in National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) “to act as an independent and vibrant voice to engage with stakeholders throughout Pakistan for promotion of humanitarian values by influencing policies and building capacities to ensure right based humanitarian response”. 172 humanitarian organizations are members of NHN from across Pakistan and it is open for all national and local organizations engaged in humanitarian assistance or disaster management advocacy.  NHN focus on “Effective and Accountable Humanitarian Governance” – mainly in Response and Disaster Preparedness through four major areas i.e. “Coordination/networking, Advocacy, Capacity Building and Information Management”.

NHN is a key network in Pakistan which is well connected with various stakeholders and demonstrated its effectiveness to do proper advocacy and lobbying for access, space and principled response. NHN supports stakeholders in collecting and timely sharing of critical information for preparedness and response as its members are spread across Pakistan and even in hard to reach areas.
