The 2019 Asia-Pacific Regional NGO Partnerships Week and ICVA Regional Members Meeting, which this year will take place from 26-29 November in Bangkok.
The 2019 Asia-Pacific Regional NGO Partnerships Week will bring together over 100 members and partners of ICVA and the Asia Disaster Reduction and Response Network (ADRRN) in a series of meetings, events and workshops focused on strengthening humanitarian practice in the region. Each year we continue to involve new partners and strengthen the event – to help further bridge the gap between policy and operation practice in this very interesting and challenging region.
From 26-28 November , the agenda will include the following sessions and activities:
- ICVA Regional Members Meeting
- ADRRN AGM
- Regional Innovation Forum: Localization of Innovation Management
- Making the Next Decade Count: Coherence between climate, disaster and displacement sectors
- Panel discussion and workshop on protection in refugee, IDP and preparedness settings
- Workshop on Gender in Humanitarian Action
- Workshop on Rethinking Equitable Partnerships Innovatively
- Networking and Social Events
On the morning of Friday 29 November, the keynote event will be held on the topic: Accountability to Communities is not an Option.
