Smart City Awards 2020 now open for submissions!
This year, the World Smart City Awards will take place within the context of the new virtual event Smart City Live 2020 (17-18 November): a full-day television broadcast including interviews, debates, and success stories, with a focus on how COVID-19 has impacted cities, with a second day featuring workshops, sessions, and side events.
The benchmark World Smart City Awards (WSCA) will be one of the highlights of this upcoming event, giving recognition to cities, projects, and innovative ideas that are making cities around the world more livable, sustainable, and economically viable.
Last year, our Call for Awards received 450 proposals from 54 countries. Projects from Sweden, Spain, China, Bolivia, the USA, and Argentina were rewarded in front of an audience of more than 1,000 international attendees.
Click below to see the 2020 award categories and send in your proposal by September 15 for the chance to gain global recognition as a smart city leader. The winners will be announced live at the award ceremony, broadcast on November 18.
